Healios
Healios is an online mental health service provider for children, young people and families.
We are currently experiencing extremely high demand for our services, which means that some children and young people are waiting a long time to access help.
Healios are helping us by providing extra capacity and extra staff working on the behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. This means we can offer more appointments, so more children and young people can access support in a timely way.
Healios offer mental health assessments and interventions via on online platform on our behalf. Many of our appointments are already being delivered virtually – accessing help via Healios is just the same as accessing help from one of our clinicians in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
If you are offered support via Healios, you will receive a letter in the post explaining how to prepare for your appointment. This will include setting up and activating a Healios account, telling Healios when you are available and completing some questionnaires.
Appointments tend to last around 1 ½ hours. We recommend that an adult attend the first session with you. Find out more about what to expect from your appointments.
If you are open to Healios and have any questions, you can contact Healios on 0330 124 4222 or info@healios.org.uk
